The electric PEUGEOT E-3008 will be a Crossover

Official presentation Peugeot E-3008 is approaching: a new electric model will be presented in September - probably at the fair IAA in Munich. Already at the beginning of June, official photos were published cockpits, which showed a surprising new a miniature landscape and which we show again in the gallery. Peugeot has now released the first silhouette of the newcomer.

From what I've seen, it's new Peugeot E-3008 more of a crossover, and its bodywork is similar to the model Citroen e-C4. Quite the angular, or at least tall, rear end of the previous model Peugeot 3008 in the new generation it disappears and is much more similar hatchback. Peugeot trailer photos showing only side view, is selling as the next step in its campaign #camocatch. It is obviously a kind of viral marketing: the public should feel included in the presentation of the new model E-3008. Therefore, already in May, a vote was held on social networks about the camouflage colors of the prototypes. Three camouflage options were chosen in June: Street Art, Optical Art in Prototype. They will be used for test drives on European roads in the summer.

Peugeot will start testing the prototypes in three camouflages, which were chosen by voting on social networks, this summer on European roads.

As for technology Peugeot E-3008, all that is known for now is that he is supposed to have range 700 km and that it is based on the platform STLA Medium, which was recently featured in more detail, which was probably no coincidence. In doing so, it was revealed that the platform supports batteries with a capacity of up to 98 kWh, which enables a range of more than 700 km. In addition to front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive will be available (a first for the company's electric models). The power of the vehicle is from 160 to 285 kW. On technology STLA Medium will also be based DS4 E Tense, which is expected to be launched in 2024 – presumably at the same time as Peugeot E-3008. On the new platform for segments C and D will also be based on the model Peugeot E-5008 in Opel Grandland Electric, announced for the end of 2024.
