ALFA ROMEO is already preparing a new SUPER SPORT small series model for 2026

Similar to the 33 Stradale model, the design of the new vehicle will be inspired by past models.

Alfa Romeo has already announced a new supercar due to the overwhelming enthusiasm for the revival of the 33 Stradale. Cristiano Fiorio, responsible for strategic projects, confirmed that plans are underway for a second low-volume and high-end model that will also draw design inspiration from the iconic models. He asked potential buyers which design direction they should go in, and based on initial responses, it was the majority's favorite Giulia TZ from 1963.

Head of Design at Alfa Romeo, Alejandro Mesonero-Romans, mentioned that among the models that customers would like to see revived in some form are Giulietta SZ from 1960 and Montreal from 1970. As with the 33 Stradale, the new supercar is also being developed Bottega (Italian for “workshop”) – a custom department within Stellantis, which is in charge of creating the ultra-exclusive cars they will produce in less than 50 copies per individual model.

The famous Italian brand has already announced that the 33 Stradale will go down in history as its last petrol supercar.

Model 33 Stradale have developed in just 16 months, taking advantage of the position Alfa Romeo under the auspices of the Stellantis company, as they had access to the platform on which the model was created Maserati MC20. While the gorgeous coupe in the picture will be available with both a petrol engine and an electric drive, the next one will not, as the famous Italian brand has already announced that the 33 Stradale will go down in history as its last petrol supercar.

Let's remember: Touring Superleggera body will produce the 33 Stradale model. Only 33 will be made, and while the price has never been officially announced, some say it will cost approx $ 2,1 million. Those signed up still have time to decide whether they want the twin-turbo 3,0-liter V6 or an electric powertrain. Currently, buyers generally prefer a model with an electric drive motor.

Florio said that the department must Bottega, which he leads, to stand on its own feet in the sense that it must be profitable. However, making money is not the main goal, as he is convinced that these supercars help to improve the image and Alfa Romeo brand image.
