Exterior

Due to the even proportions of the body, the designers designed dynamic lines, which take advantage of the distance from the ground and give the shapes momentum. The front headlights have a modern look due to the contrast with the glossy black parts. It looks solid and robust as you would expect from Jeep.

Ford Puma is stylistically the complete opposite: a few sharp edges, rounded shapes and soft but muscular lines. It is approx 4,20 meters, and it is immediately recognizable by the large front grille and headlights LED (also serial) in the raised position. It is formed according to selected equipment version it changes so much that it is characteristic not only of the light signature, but also of the bumpers, guards and ground clearance.

Interior

From the vehicle B SUV you expect compact dimensions, but also practical use of space. In this regard jeep avenger in Ford Puma they do not disappoint. However, the trunk with the least 456 liters volume, one of the largest in its class. MegaBox, an additional airtight compartment with volume 80 liters, is installed under the floor. Inside, most of the upholstery is soft-touch plastic, alternating with harder materials, and in the upper parts we also find leather surfaces with contrasting seams. In the technological field, Puma starting to show in years (renovation expected in 2024): Central screen infotainment system it's 8 inches and uses software SYNC3, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay in Android Auto. Behind the steering wheel is a 12,3-inch instrument panel.

Drives and technology

Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid based on a 1,2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with 101 BAM, which can also be selected without an electric assistant, in combination with front-wheel drive and as standard six-speed gearbox DSG.

Like the Jeep, it also has Ford in its offer only petrol versions, or "clean" in the case of a sports model ST or electrified mild hybrid. There are two available, both 1,0 liter three-cylinder turbo gasoline engines, one with 155 BAM and hybrid EcoBoost with 125 hp. It is only available with front-wheel drive, but you can also order it with 6-speed automatic transmission.

Prices for Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid start at 27.000 EUR for version Longitude and achieve 31.500 EUR for the highest version Summit. Ford Puma EcoBoost Hybrid with 125 hp it is on par with prices from 27.400 euros for the basic version Titanium do 33.400 euros for version ST-Line Vignale. In contrast to the Jeep however, it can be chosen with a manual or automatic transmission, the latter costing approx. 1.700 EUR.
