Tesla Model Y vs. Hyundai Ioniq 5: The battle of the electric crossovers

Tesla Model Y is available in three versions: RWD, Long Range in Performance with 320 hp, 514 hp or 534 hp. As you can imagine, the latest version is the most powerful, with a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h 3,7 seconds and maximum speed 250 km/h. Achievements range from 455 km in the RWD version (with 50 kWh battery) up to 533 km in the Long Range version, while the range of the Performance version 514 km (both are equipped with a 75 kWh battery). All according to the cycle WLTP, of course.

Tesla Y Performance

Even the usual ones ionic 5 is available with two battery sizes and three different drive systems. The price list starts with version z 58 kWh in 170 BAM and continues with versions with 228 hp and 325 hp (the latter also with all-wheel drive), which are combined with a battery s 77,4 kWh. The range is from approx 400 km in the version with 170 hp up to more than 500 km in the version with 228 hp. The offer is completed by the model N s 650 BAM, one of the most extreme and fastest crossovers in its segment, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3,4 seconds. A special feature is the battery with capacity 84 kWh, which, according to the manufacturer's first data, enables a reach of approx 400 kilometers.

Hyundai Ioniq 5N

As for the biggest charging speed, it can Model Y from 20 to 80 percent fill in 15 minutes. ionic 5 is filled from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes.

Pricelist

Price model versions Y with four-wheel drive starts at 44.890 EUR, and the long-range version at 54.990 EUR. The base price of the top Performance model is 60.990 EUR. Of course, the rating can change (even significantly) if you add additional equipment, such as a tow bar (from EUR 1.350) and a more extensive autopilot (from EUR 7.500).

Pricelist model ionic 5 are similar in that they start at 43.900 euros and rise to 58.800 euros for a model with a 77,4 kWh battery and four-wheel drive. Price list model N starts at 74.900 euros. In between is a model for 54.800 EUR, which also has a large battery, but lacks all-wheel drive and only has 229 BAM.
