This pretty blue Bentley Bentayga is unique

For years, Bentley's Mulliner division has been building cars that customers customize down to the smallest detail.

This is how exceptional examples were created that helped write the brand's history around the world. The latest example is special Bentayga EWB (ie long wheelbase) commissioned by a couple from Irvine, California, in very flashy colors both inside and out.

Since its introduction in 2016, the Bentayga has become Bentley's most popular model. This was not only helped by its SUV shape, but also by the extensive customization options offered by the Mulliner department. The buyer of this example visited a local Bentley dealer in Newport Beach with the intention of buying a standard one Bentaygo EWB Azure V8 First Edition. However, after talking to experts, they decided to choose the exterior colors and interior finishes themselves from the company's catalog of 46 billion different configurations.

With support Phil Dean, design managers at Mulliner, were able to realize their ideas and choose the color for the exterior "Kingfisher", light electric blue, combined with a contrasting dark roof. The latter color has also been used for the bonnet and upper door section and complements perfectly the gloss black radiator grille, front air intakes and rear diffuser from the Blackline catalogue. As a special contrast, they chose 22-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, which are also painted in blue. "Kingfisher" and "Beluga".

As for the interior, the cabin is te Bentayge EWB based on a four-seat configuration. With rear seats with design "airline seats", Naim audio system and extended ambient lighting. For the color scheme, the California couple chose a combination of tangerine and imperial blue leather, and used open-pore acacia for the wood applications. Finally, they covered all the missing details with special leather in the same color as the lower part of the body. Among them are the inner tongue of the steering wheel, the gear lever and other details.

2023 was the best year for Mulliner Division, which saw a 2022% increase in orders compared to the record year of 43. 75 percent of all new Bentleys are now equipped under the Mulliner umbrella.
