Citroën Basalt Vision debuts as an elegant SUV Coupé

Citroën continues to work on its global strategy. To this end, the French manufacturer has now introduced a new model – an SUV-coupe with the name Basalt Vision. This is part family C3 and will be presented this year in South America and India. Europe will remain empty-handed.

The company also says it has combined “the dynamics of a coupe and the robustness of an SUV". In other words, high ground clearance combined with a stylish rear end. It fits. Basalt will be similar in size to the model C3 Aircross. This means that the debt will be approx 4,30 meters, and its center distance will be 2,67 meters. For comparison: VW Nivus is long 4,26 meters and has a wheelbase 2,56 meters, Fiat Hatchback measure 4,42 meters or 2,53 meters. New Citroën's the model would therefore be between the two models in terms of size, but would have a significantly longer wheelbase and therefore probably more interior space. Unfortunately, Citroën has not yet managed to release a picture of the interior.

It will first be presented on market in India, where he will debut in approx the third quarter. According to the company, there will be years 2024 also appeared in South America. However, according to the French company's usual schedule, it is very likely that sales there will begin in the last quarter.
