Revamped Buick Envision with sharper looks, 30-inch screen and standard four-wheel drive

The facelifted Envision will go on sale this summer with an updated exterior, interior and additional standard equipment.

Buick's makeover continues, as the brand has introduced a renewed model Envision. The redesigned crossover, originally unveiled last summer, incorporates a new design philosophy while giving it a larger emphasis on technology.

The changes are immediately visible, as the model is equipped with split light units and a modified radiator grill that is now lower and wider. They are joined by a new bumper, redesigned mask radiator and updated Buick logo with three shields.

The last part is a lot more evolutionary, as it has new rear lights and a slightly modified bumper. Buyers will also find an updated color palette that includes Blue Metallic Calypso Blue and metallic paint Smokey Amethyst.

The changes are deeper than the surface, because Envision it covers a streamlined offering that now consists of implementations Preferred, ST in To come up. This is a slight departure from last year's pattern, where the middle class was called Gasoline, a package ST but it was an option.

When we talk about equip ST, features a unique radiator grille, black accents and 20-inch wheels with carbon metallic paint. Buyers will also find a unique flat-bottom steering wheel.

The biggest changes are in the cabin, which has been completely redesigned and is now worthy of Buick's premium status. The old analogue gauges and infotainment system have been relegated to history as a new, class-leading 30-inch widescreen display is available.

Buick says it's customizable, and owners will be able to "prioritize the views they want and switch between multiple widgets such as navigation, vehicle information, audio entertainment and more." Google is also built into the screen, which means access to services Google Assistant, Google Maps and shops Google Play.

In addition to the large screen, it has Envision better quality switches, a revised dashboard and a redesigned center console with a new rotary controller. Gearshift lever was moved from the console to the steering column.

Elsewhere, the model gets a new leather-wrapped steering wheel, additional metallic accents and updated upholstery available in different bold colors. In particular, buyers will be able to order a garnet interior with ebony accents or a cool gray interior with slate blue elements.

Under the hood is a familiar 2,0-liter four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger that produces 170 kW (231 hp) and 350 Nm of torque. It is connected with nine-speed automatic transmission and a new standard all-wheel drive system.

Renovated Buick Envision will roll into US showrooms in the summer, with pricing starting at $ 37.295. That's a significant jump from $34.745, but it's worth noting that the old all-wheel-drive version was actually more expensive, coming in at $38.345.
