In the sixth race Berlin ePrix were dominated by black arrows in the manner we know from Formula 1. Le Sebastien Buemi (Nissan-e.dams) managed to follow them, but had no chance against to the Belgian-Dutch duo in the final stage of the race.

We also experienced a scene in Formula E, which we are used to from Formula 1. Two Mercedes at the very top.

This is also the first victory Vandoorne in Formula E. "It's a turning point!" cheered the team on the radio. He also secured the victory another place in the overall standings of the championship.

“We knew we had a good race car. We have already shown this in previous races. But putting it all into practice at the race was something else, ” je Belgian added in an interview.

De Vries he had another ace up his sleeve because he saved some energy while driving for Buemi. In the last phase of the race, he used it, catching the team driver Nissan e.dams and overtook him. "It's like a burden falling off your shoulders!" said after his first Formula E podium.

"We were close many times. As a team, we made mistakes, I made them myself. To drive such a race, now in the final, is very satisfying. In the end, I didn’t use up all my energy at all and I was still getting closer to Stoffel. I would have a chance to win if the final attack started half a round earlier, ” said the young Dutchman.

Lucas di Grassi (Audi) finished in sixth place, and behind him was even more interesting. Robin Frijns (Virgin), who was in fifth place for a long time, first received a blow from di Grassi and then defended the position against Maximilian Günther (BMW-Andretti). It is not entirely clear whether the tire on his car was already flat and he had lost control of it, or whether Frijns Günther deliberately pushed into the wall. Günther thus fell to 12th place, Frances however, he ended the race prematurely due to a punctured tire.

Thus, they were among the winners of points Jean-Eric Vergne (DS Techeetah; 7th place), Alex lynn (Mahindra; 8th place), new champion Antonio Felix daCosta (DS Techeetah; 9th place) and Edward Mortara (Venturi-Mercedes; 10th place).

Season Formula E 2019/20 is now complete. If there is no second wave of the pandemic, the 7th season of the series of electric formulas will begin on January 16, 2021 in Santiago de Chile. Formula E will then also receive official World Championship status under the auspices of the FIA.
