Nicholas LATIFI in parc ferme: Where is MERCEDES?

After the race at Monza, Williams driver Nicholas Latifi only realized how crazy the race we experienced last weekend. In the parc of the farm he searched in vain for a Mercedes.

This year GP of Italy was the first Formula 1 race after Hungarian leta 2012, on which no driver was on the podium Mercedes, Red Bulla ali Ferrari. It is instead Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri) after his crazy race achieved his first victory in his career before Carlos Sainz (McLaren) and Lance Stroll (RacingPoint).

Nicholas latifi, who achieved his best result of the season with eleventh place in Monza, at first did not know what all happened before him when came to the parc farm: “I don’t know what was going on before me. I thought everything at the top was within normal limits, and then I come to the pits and to the parc farm and see Gasly celebrating. ”

Nicolas Latifi watched in vain for Mercedes in the first three places.

It is at first Williams driver thought yes gasly celebrates the podium but not the victory. “I said to myself, oh, great, he came on the podium, bravo! Okay, but where's the Mercedes? Then I see that there is no Mercedes in second and third place either! Then I realized that the race must have been a lot more exciting than I thought. ”

"I'm definitely going to watch the whole drama at home again," he says Latifs. "It's great to have races like that from time to time," he says and believes fans want to see such a spectacle more often. "Some, of course, would disagree with me here," he adds Canadian.

With that, of course Latifs indirectly addresses the fans of the main loser of chaos in Monza, the world champion Lewis Hamilton. Because he made a stop in the pits during the safety car phase, even though the track through the pits was closed, he received a penalty ten seconds stop in the pits, which cost him reliable victories.
