Ford Mustang with the look of a children's movie? It sounds strange at first glance, but that's exactly what happened: Andy De La Vega was inspired by A Pixar movie "Cars" and redesigned the entire car!
Ford Mustang GT 2024 has just been launched – and one of the first owners immediately gave his new sports coupe a complete makeover. Fans Pixar will instantly recognize where Andy De La Vega got his inspiration from! V Pixar's "Cars" film series it's about, as you might imagine, cars. He plays the main role in films lightning mcqueen (Lightning McQueen). De La Vega has his new Mustang modeled after this red racing car.

Movie lover Cars was particularly faithful to detail. In the series of films, there is a fictional brand of tires "Lightyear", which is most likely modeled after Goodyear – and of course they are Continental's tires on the Mustang equipped with white “Lightyear” lettering, appropriate for the film. The correct one is also included racing number 95 and all important stickers.
Just like in the movie it has Mustang eyes on the windshield. That is transparent foil, which enables the car to be driven. Mustang GT Andy De La Vega was lowered a bit but didn't touch the engine. Standard ones 480 BAM naturally aspirated engine units V8 should probably suffice.
Indeed, it remains just one more wish unfulfilled: It's in the movie Lightning McQueen compared to light blue Porsche 911 Carrera GTS by name Sally. As part of a fundraising campaign, Porsche sent a one-off version to the market "911 Sally Special” – it would be nice if these two replicas ever met!
