The "monolithic" design should help improve range and efficiency in the future.

Concept BMW i Vision Dee represented an early, if radical, glimpse into the future of BMW electric vehicle design. At the fair IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich, a "new" interpretation of the same concept is now presented with more accents and features that will actually go into production.

Concept BMW Vision Neue Klasse it has the same basic design as the previous i Vision Dee concept, but it packs more substance than before. The inverted diffuser in black at the bottom of the bumper gives to the Neue Klasse concept compared to the Vision Dee, a more sporty aesthetic, new 21-inch wheels however, they replace the neon green plates and are a tribute to the classic design of the cross arms found at racing cars of the BM brandW. The elongated taillights mimic the combination of the kidney grille and headlights at the front, and BMW's new minimalist logo is printed on the front and rear bumpers; there is not a single metal badge on it.

BMW describes the design as "almost monolithic", and this design allows for a 30 percent increase in range and a 25 percent increase in efficiency compared to all of the manufacturer's current electric vehicles. Combined with the sixth generation of BMW eDrive technology installed in it, the Neue Klasse concept promises 20 percent more density, 25 percent more efficiency and 30 percent faster charging.

No range information is provided, but BMW has previously stated that the 1.000 kilometers of range there are no exclusions. The new eDrive system will be manufactured at the BMW factory in Debrecen in Hungary, which is currently under construction and promises to work without the use of fossil fuels.
