The new Škoda Octavia will be presented this spring

In a YouTube video lasting just 16 seconds, the Czech manufacturer shows off the future headlight graphics…

The year 2024 is for Too bad starts with the premiere the new Octavia. An update to the sedan and hatchback is planned for spring. Appearance, standard equipment and engines will be thoroughly changed. However, there is no official information about it yet. Instead, it is Czech manufacturer now released the first and official video that at least partially predicts the final image of Octavia.

The trailer is only 16 seconds long, but this short time is enough to give us a first look at the front end Skoda vehicles. This is probably where the biggest changes will take place, as they will be on newly designed and more modern headlights and a differently shaped refrigerator grid, which we believe is inspired by the new Fabia and Kodiaq. The rear lights will also probably have a different look, but there will also be no shortage new colors and patterns for light alloy wheels. The interior will also change, where he will make his debut a new infotainment system. The latter could be the same as in the revised Golf, Passat or Tiguan models, which will have at least 12-inch screen with new graphics and features.

Group connection Volkswagen will continue with used engines. Octavia will likely be equipped with updated gasoline and diesel engines from the Evo generation, which may already meet the (recently much weakened) standard Euro 7. Engines in particular could be confirmed 1.0 TSI with 110 hp, 1.5 TSI with 150 hp (both available as mild hybrids) and 2.0 TSI with 245 hp from the RS version. The diesel versions are unlikely to change as it is still on offer 2.0 TDI with 116 hp, 150 hp and 200 hp. Finally, it remains to be seen whether it will Škoda despite declining sales FUEL continued to offer the 1,5 G-TEC with 131 HP.
