Departing X3 was s 350.000 units delivered the best-selling BMW by 2023. Although the luxury crossover has been available since 2017, it has proven to be more popular than the quintessential 3 Series sedan. When we talk about electrified model, this one won't be coming to the US at least initially. BMW is sure to be the redesigned X3 passed all safety tests with flying colours Euro NCAP. Expect a simplified dashboard layout with just a few common buttons. You will access most of the features via touch screen, as seen in almost all others BMWs, which are on sale today. Given that the new X1 is much larger than it used to be at 4,5 meters long, it's likely that also increased X3, in order to maintain a safe distance between the two crossovers.
The new iX3 is still planned, but will be significantly different from the X3. Next year it will appear on BMW's Neue Klasse platform, which was much talked about. Versions with an internal combustion engine will remain on the proven foundations CLAR. The appearance of the two crossovers will differ significantly, especially in the interior, where it will have iX3 brand new dashboard with the tenth generation of the iDrive system.
BMW iX3 Neue Klasse
BMW recently presented the future iX3 with model Vision Neue Klasse X. The concept had a large central screen and no driver display. Instead, it flowed from one corner of the windshield to the other stretched head-up display. The zero-emissions crossover, due for launch in 2025, will lose its selector iDrive, which we have already mentioned. We estimate that it will be more spacious than the model with ICE due to the purpose electric chassis with an extended wheelbase that became possible after the superstructure was removed. There is talk of a front trunk, but nothing is official yet.
In the meantime, it will the next X3 with gasoline, diesel and plug-in hybrid drive available in a few weeks, and it will go on sale before the end of the year.
